Recognition, Referral & Recovery: Substance Use Disorders and Rebuilding through Al-Anon & Alateen

Join us for a discussion on the signs to spot in ourselves and our colleagues regarding addiction issues, and the deleterious effects on and codependency of family members. An Alateen will share a personal story of recovery and a representative of LAP (Lawyers’ Assistance Program) will discuss the benefits and resources provided by LAP. A long time Alanon member and Adult Alateen Sponsor will discuss the Alanon and Alateen programs.
This program is approved for one hour of specialty CLE credit for mental health/substance use disorder credit with the Illinois MCLE Board and Professionalism Commission.
This hour-long program is open to all lawyers and judges. Cost to attend is $10.00.
